Your saved boxes
We do not process boxes using the shape cutting technology. Our machine produces shipping boxes made of endless cardboard. The boxes have bigs (bends in the endless cardboard), which can cause difficulties in folding. When cutting, the machine can create burrs on the cardboard.
The paper folding box F443 has a more complex folding design, but thanks to this it has an elegant appearance and a convenient closure when folded. Using this storage paper box expands your packaging options by inserting product from the top and sides. The box is suitable as a shipper packaging but also as a helper in smaller production. This box is manufactured using box-on-demand technology from continuous board, which is folded in 1143 mm (the 'bigy' bends are therefore part of the manufactured boxes) on a pallet. By the nature of the technology, it is not possible to decide where the big appears on the box.
The box is folded by bending the side and centre flaps to a vertical position, then the opposite bottom of the box with the fixing inner flaps is inserted into the intruded space. Now just insert the top part with the front flap inside to close the whole box. Subsequent securing of the entire package is possible e.g. with adhesive tape, PP tape or security adhesive label. Instructions for assembling the box can be found on our youtube channel. You can find the entire range of adhesive tapes in the packaging material section.

The range of boxes from BOX48 is made of continuous cardboard, which is folded by 1143 mm (so called 'bigs' are part of the manufactured boxes) on a pallet. Due to the nature of the technology, it is not possible to decide where the big appears on the box.
The strength of the input cardboard can be reduced as it passes through the machine. This reduction in force after passing through the machine does not affect the resistance parameters of the input board.
The input cardboard is actually 6mm thick. After the box is cut, the cardboard is about 4mm thick at the creasing, pressure and feed rollers and cut points. This is due to the technological process and cannot be avoided. In the rest of the area, the cardboard is also 6mm thick outside these mentioned places.
This is not a classic die-cut, where this 'squeezing' of the cardboard does not occur.
This is not a die-cut box making technology, the production has its own specifics and tolerances. Before ordering, please consult our consulting room for information about the technology read our FAQ section.
If you are looking for a box that you plan to use as a gift, consider whether you will be bothered by unaesthetic elements such as bigs, burrs, etc. These elements are part of the box by virtue of the manufacturing technology used. Where the machine picks up the cardboard for formatting, the cardboard may be pinched. These dents are part of the principle of the technology used and are not grounds for complaint.
Tearing of the cardboard if the box is not folded correctly:
This problem is often caused by turning the box so that the kraft surface (darker brown shade) is not on the outside of your box. At that point, you are bending the testliner material (lighter, lower-weight material), which is normally on the inside. If this situation happens to you, we recommend that you unfold the box and double check that you are folding the box from the correct side. If the kraft surface is on the outside, you're done and you'll have a complete box in no time. In case you are not sure about folding the box try our youtube channel. The presence of a tear in the cardboard by poor folding of the box is not a reason for accepting a claim.
