Full product description
This handy box folds quickly and easily in one piece. It is an alternative product to the most widely used FEFCO 0201 flap box. However, compared to the flap box, you get a packaging that has a solid bottom without joints - the ideal box for a postal parcel. The closing of the box and the insertion is from the top side, the ideal closure is an adhesive tape with a minimum width of 48mm. Alternatively, it is possible to use staples to close the packaging, PP tape or classic string. This box is manufactured using box-on-demand technology from continuous cardboard. Thanks to this technology, it is not important whether you are looking for a3 or a4 postal boxes, you can make a postal box for your parcel exactly according to your parcel. Our postal boxes for parcels will be accepted by the Czech Post and other forwarding companies without any problems. You will thus ensure professional packaging.
This postal cardboard box is therefore also suitable for workplaces with a higher turnover of packaged products, eshops and repackaging centres (we recommend it for shipping services, but our clients use the boxes commonly in the food industry, e.g. for packaging flour).
The colour of the box is brown (the top side of the box is covered with kraft paper - kraftliner). Paper white folding boxes can be ordered from 1000 pieces. Please enter your request in the order note
If you want a simple shipping package we recommend using three-layer cardboard (3VVL). If, on the other hand, you prefer strength and compactness of the whole package, use five-layer cardboard (5VVL). We use the EB type of cardboard. You can see the choice of cardboard at the calculator of each box when entering the dimensions.
The range of boxes from BOX48 is made of continuous cardboard, which is stacked 1143 mm (the so-called 'bigs' are therefore part of the manufactured boxes) on a pallet. Due to the nature of the technology, it is not possible to decide where the big appears on the box.
Technical specification of our endless cardboard:
3VVL - B-wool, 3mm thick, cardboard composition: 120g/m² Kraftliner, 120g/m² Wellenstoff, 140g/m² Testliner
5VVL - BE wool, 4mm thick, board composition: 120g/m² Kraftliner, 120g/m² Wellenstoff, 100g/m² Schrenz, 120g/m² Wellenstoff, 120g/m² Testliner
If you are looking for a box that you plan to use as a gift, consider whether you will be bothered by unaesthetic elements such as bigs, burrs, etc. These elements are part of the box by virtue of the manufacturing technology used. Where the machine picks up the cardboard for formatting, the cardboard may be pinched. These dents are part of the principle of the technology used and are not grounds for complaint.
Tearing of the cardboard if the box is not folded correctly:
This problem is often caused by turning the box so that the kraft surface (darker brown shade) is not on the outside of your box. At that point, you are bending the testliner material (lighter, lower-weight material), which is normally on the inside. If this situation happens to you, we recommend that you unfold the box and double check that you are folding the box from the correct side. If the kraft surface is on the outside, you're done and you'll have a complete box in no time. In case you are not sure about folding the box try our youtube channel. The presence of a tear in the cardboard by poor folding of the box is not a reason for accepting a claim.
