Osmička is the first Czech brainhack drink. Triple dose of natural caffeine from tea and guarana, mct oil as a smart fuel and four selected nootropics. Have you ever wondered how much the 'energy drink' you buy in the supermarket really costs? The 'bar people' (editor's note) didn't realize this until they started developing the Eight. This gave them an insight into how much the ingredients in a can of 'energy drink' really cost.
My girlfriend ordered the pack for me and it was a great gift. I work as a doctor and being alert is important to me first thing in the morning. I've always been used to waking up with coffee. But it often activates too much and combined with work stress sometimes leads to early fatigue for me. What I appreciated about the Eight is that after drinking it, I felt like I slept another 2-3 hours longer. In short, I felt less tired, felt rested and mentally alert. And so it lasted for 4-5 hours for sure. At the same time, there were no adverse effects of coffee - dehydration, bitterness in the mouth.
Our products are premium, so they also need representative packaging that can withstand the rough handling of shipping companies. Primarily, however, we use packaging for our brainhack drink Osmička.
Making drinks in a startup fashion is often challenging, which is why we often need to package 'on-demand'. At BOX48 , they accommodate us both in terms of design and materials and in terms of speed of delivery of the packaging.
For us, it's great to see a customized box calculation instantly - it speeds up the whole buying process significantly, and at the same time we already order the specific boxes as we need them. The whole buying process is also very simple.
Andrej Valis and Jan Vlachynský, two young and ambitious men from Brno. They started their business together after returning from Alaska in 2009. First as distributors of organic cider. Then they heard that as students they could earn extra money by selling at Christmas markets. But they didn't like the idea of selling other people's goods for long hours and ending up with a meagre salary as temporary workers. So they dusted off their initial cider idea and moved up a few notches. They mixed cider with apple brandy and their own blend of spices to create Turbomost, an alcoholic drink that was an instant hit and is now an essential part of the Christmas markets in Brno. The psychology and economics students became stallholders. Andrej and Honza were not satisfied with a career as market vendors, albeit a successful one. They started thinking about a business that could operate year-round. Now the result is a concept you can explore at www.lidizbaru.cz.
